Frequently Asked Questions

How do I search for a word?

Type or copy a word into the search box; press ENTER on your keyboard.

You can search for mutated forms, verb forms, feminine adjectives, prepositional forms, etc. and combinations of these (e.g. thery, felen, thanaf.)

If your device doesn't provide a means of inputting vowel with diacritics above them natively, type the vowel and the diacritic symbol separately and they will be combined automatically, e.g. a^ => â; e/ => é; o\ => ò.

You can search for the meaning of a word that appears in any definition by double-clicking on it with your mouse.

As you type in the search box the result list will update itself. Click any word in the list to jump to its definition. If you happen to misspell a word while searching, Gweiadur will offer a list of similar headings where you can search for the correct spelling.
